FBW A320 Throttle spontaneously goes to idle

Featured Replies

Since WU8 I've experienced the FBWA320 Experimental going throttle idle in autopilot when using the interactive comm and nav menus in VR. I am also using the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant. I haven't been able to find conflicting key bindings. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions other than "don't use the menus?"

Does the VC's throttle itself move to idle, or does the power go down to idle while the throttle stays in CL?

If it's the former, the first place I'd look is jittering in the throttle. My TM 1600 started jittering not long after I bought it, because while the stick has hall effect sensors, the throttle uses the old pots, and apparently it doesn't use very good ones.

If you use the TCA Sidestick in addition to your Throttle Quadrants, make sure to unbind the sidestick's thrust lever.

The VC throttle moves to idle. I will check the bindings of the sidestick. Thanks.

There are no conflicting controller bindings. It happens when interacting with the in game atc comm window.
