How to get rid of PG trees?
Since their ML algorithms already detect trees based on satellite images, maybe use that to automatically create exclusion zones that disables PG data around detected trees. Might be easier to implement instead of training ML on 3D data.

[MSFS 2024] TCA Sidestick/Rudder pedals way too sensitive?
Take a look at this document, though not sure if it'll help in your case: https://ts.thrustmaster.com/download/games-compatibility/AIRBUS_Mapping_Xbox_MSFS24.pdf Also take a look at the Windows Gamecontroller properties (aka this window). Make sure that when you move your rudder axis slowly, the corresponding indicator moves smoothly and without any twitching. I had a similar problem. Turns out that my USB cable of the Sidestick was coiled up with other cables which caused weird interference.

27NOV24 MSFS2024 Status and Patch Timeline
Let's just hope that installing addons locally doesn't increase sim loading times. I mean, it shouldn't really matter wether the files are being streamed from the hard drive or from the cloud.

Helissimmer's (Sérgio's) initial impressions on FS 2024...
Aside from the bugs and loading issues—which I completely agree with, by the way—I find the complaint about being "forced" to fly fixed-wing aircraft in an optional career mode a bit silly. Especially when you can specialize in the helicopter skill tree fairly early on. It's like complaining in a racing simulator that you have to do car missions before unlocking motorcycle missions. While there's nothing wrong with preferring helicopters, he's acting as if fixed-wing aircraft are the bane of his existence.

FS24 Alpha sucks down 81GB/hr (Toms Hardware article)
To get a good picture on the overall data consumption, we need a more detailed analysis than simply the peak bandwidth. What is the average bandwidth? How does it differ when flying over populated vs less populated areas. The 81GB per hour assumes that the bandwidth is constantly at the measured peak bandwidth of 180 MBbit/s.
