February 6, 20224 yr Hi, I am trying to get vectors to final. my route is eight DCT SAM Z171 LELNA LELN1J egjj I have the ILS 26 at egjj but when I set the app to vectors to final it P2ATC keeps the full ILS. I/ was ablate get vectors uo to a few weeks ago. Has something changed? Spoiler
February 6, 20224 yr Commercial Member ATC decides whether or not to give vectors based on several factors, including approach angle. If your route lines up nicely with the final approach course, you likely won't get vectors. Selecting Vectors on the Approach as the transition type only says you don't want a published transition. You can verbally request vectors to the ILS and you can get them regardless of approach angle. Dave
