Hi guys, so I had to return my Reverb G2 since it literally just did not work with my face/head to sit comfortably at all.  I have a friend coming over later today with his Oculus 2 for me to try out and wanted to see what I need to do in order for it to talk with the sim.  Is it as simple as installing whatever Oculus software and activating VR mode on the sim?  The G2 was pretty easy with the V2 version just turn it on and then load the sim and go, but I uninstalled all the OpenXR etc stuff after sending the G2 back so I don't know if I need any of that back.

If with "Oculus 2" you mean "Quest 2", you first have to download and install the Oculus Link app.

Sorry, yeah the oculus/meta quest 2. So just the link app then fire up the sim and toggle VR?

Yep. I didn't have to do anything more.

Thanks, worked great.  Still undecided what headset to go with, looks like I'll need serious tweaking like the G2 to get anything usable with a Quest 2.  At least the headset was comfortable and the sweet spot was easier to deal with.  Would love to test MSFS with another friend's Index but he doesn't have room to install MSFS right now and the Index is something that can't just be dragged down the street and set up easily.  Still been debating doing the Index anyway since that gets me the base stations etc. that a lot of the new high res headsets rely on and when my GPU is upgraded from a 2080 Super I could potentially actually run them.
