Anyone buy this from Orbx?

I've really missed the missions from FSX, with real voice actors (not microsoft Sam) and events (like a bear running onto the runway).

It seems like we're creeping closer to that again, and this new one might be it? If not, anyone know anything similar to that?

they provide one of the missions free on the orbx site so you could try it there.  There is a link to this from the site linked above.

I actually still have the old fsx on my comp just so I can occasionally fly one of the old missions of which many are available.

Reporting back after the demo: It's fantastic, just like the old FSX missions! Full voice acting, triggered events, decison-making, etc.

If this capability exists, I can't help but wonder why we don't have a lot more of these, and Asobo isn't making it easy by releasing a mission creator of sorts.

In any case, if you're interested in the old FSX missions this pack from Orbx is a definite buy.

At what point during the demo did you get to make a choice? Maybe it's a random event, the muddiness of the destination airstrip which might force you to divert to the other one mentioned?

Apart from that, as someone who has been longing for FSX style missions in FS2020 since it came out, I can only welcome this step in the right direction. It's still not quite the same to me though. The voice is probably synthetic and not a real voice actor, the flight is quite long without any chatter that made things come alive so very well in FSX, no loading/unloading cargo or other ambient sounds like in Neofly. In case you did buy the full version, is there any of that in the other missions maybe? Thanks!
