February 14, 20224 yr Phrases in the grammar helper that contain a colon ":" , are causing an error in the windows speech trainer. 1.Click on button "Grmr Help" in main screen". In the grammar helper dialog choose Controller Filter > Phrase Type > Phrases ClearanceDelivery > Readback > Clearance 2. in "Phrases to Say" (yellow) click on first one. "Cleared to <...> as filed" In the "Say this" section (blue) it will start with "Cleared to ...." 3. in "Phrases to Say" (yellow) click on second one. "Cleared to <..> fly the..." In the "Say this" section (blue) it will start with "You can say: Cleared to ...> The colon is possibly messing up the windows speech training. Also, I don't see why the second phrase would have to start with "You can say:..." (I guess you could leave that out)
February 14, 20224 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the report. That will be fixed in the next Public Beta. Also fixed the ones for Altimeter readbacks. The "You can say:" is prepended to any phrase that still has <---> words in it that weren't replaced with words that could be recognized by the speech engine. In the Grammar Helper, all such phrases should get fixed, so if you find any more with "You can say:", please let us know. Dave Edited February 14, 20224 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
February 15, 20224 yr Author Thanks. So far, all other phrases look good. Windows speech probably doesn't know how to pronounce special characters. 😉 It's remarkable how good the speech engine becomes after a while, even with foreign accents.
