MSFS licence

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a boxed (DVD) version of MSFS but currently do not have a suitable PC to run it on (waiting out to see if the situation with GPUs etc gets better lol).

And now I got a temporary PC which is with me for a week or so before I will have to pass it over to the client so I thought I may use it for a bit of flying meanwhile.

The question is, will it be OK licence-wise? (I will of course remove all traces of it before giving away the PC)

As I understand, the licence is tied to Microsoft account so it seems to me this should be fine, but a bit afraid if it will be ok later when I get my own gaming machine.

It’s not linked to your physical machine as you already stated. You’re good to go.

You can even have it installed on multiple PC's at the same time. The licence is probably connected to your Xbox Account.

Yes, that's the case. The MSFS license is completely unrelated to the PC it's used on. You can install it on any number of different PC, just only one can log-in at the same time.
