RXP Xplane reinstall after motherboard upgrade fails

Featured Replies

Greetings --

Recently, I upgraded my motherboard on my Windows 10 instance and since then get an "Invalid License. Contact Vendor" on XP startup. I have tried reinstalling multiple times with no change. I have attempted to use the F1  agent and under "library"  get to a page showing my May, 2021 purchase with F1 Certificate number and then after doing all the exclusions in windows security got the download to occur and run - to no avail - still get the "Invalid License". It did successfully upgrade to the latest RXP software. I can run the Garmin Trainer and it works and is up to date. My guess is that the instance is not getting/updating the F1 certificate. Note that even without a valid license, RXP does sort-of run and at the "System" tab shows a System Id of 000000000. The RXP log files are not helpful.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

All the Best,

   Byron

Hi,

Just 1) download and run the latest e-commerce installer form our website 2) enter your F1 account credentials 3) press the REINSTALL button.

Hello, again --

My apologies and sorry to be such a pest. When I run rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe it never goes to the store. I uninstalled all the RXP components (in program data and program files(x86)), then reran rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe and it still did not go to the store - it just did the install and I still got "License Invalid" message. Is there a file that is not deleted causing no connection to F1?

Thanks again,

   Byron

Hi, Jean-Luc --

In reference to my issues in reinstalling GTN 750 on a Windows 10 instance, I have tried to contact you but I do not have your PM account and my guesses have been incorrect. May I ask where I can get the correct address?

Thanks in Advance,

    Byron Peters

Hi,

Just put your mouse over my pseudo image to the left of my post, and after a few seconds when the popup shows, click "Message"...
