February 22, 20224 yr I need some help with the number select commands i.e. "Select One" for instance. When I open the ATC Window the select commands work just fine. However, if I open a different window like the GSX or Active Sky windows the "Select One" command or any other numbers are ignored. Is there something unique that they only work with the ATC window? I set up Voxkey commands for all the keyboard numbers and as long as I don't pick Select as the prefix to the number they seem to work. For instance if I set a VoxScript command "One Select" or "Anything One" the Voxkey command works on the GSX and Active Sky Windows. So my question is why doesn't the MCE "pre-programmed" number select commands that work for ATC work in the other windows. I am trying to avoid too many things to memorize and wanted to use "Select One", "Select Two" etc.. for all windows but that doesn't seem to be possible as they only work for ATC and get ignored for other windows even with Voxkey assignments. I'm running P3Dv5.3 with the latest MCE and FSL A320. Please advise and thanks in advance Joe Joe (Southern California) System: I9-9900KS @5.1Ghz/ Corsair H115i / Gigabyte A-390 Master / EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid w 11Gb / Trident 32Gb DDR4-3200 C14 / Evo 970 2Tb M.2 / Samsung 40inch TV 40ku6300 4K w/ Native 30 hz capability / Corsair AX850 PS / VKB Gunfighter Pro / Virpil MongoosT-50 Throttle / MFG Crosswind Pedals / LINDA, VoiceAttack, ChasePlane, AIG AI, MCE, FFTF, Pilot2ATC, HP Reverb G2

Those "select one", "option one" built-in commands were initially thought out as a way to cheat into ATC menu, a very, very long time ago when MCE emerged back in 2010, and well before GSX and some ther add-ons existed. If I'm not mistaken, to prevent the key being sent by accident, it checks whether the ATC window is visible. Will be looked at. I guess time to lift that restriction. Those "select one", "option two", "choose three", "click four" sorts of built-in commands are no longer tied to ATC. You can even disable the ATC feature and they will still work as expected. In order to preserve current order (existing users needing it to do what it used to), the behavior is as follows... Whenever you have multiple add-ons windows showing and the ATC window appears to be visible (in P3D & FS) or user is on Native ATC in MSFS, MCE will direct the commands to the ATC system menu If none of the above applies, whatever window appears to be having the focus, will get the click. I have been flight simming for well over 15 years and have purchased and used well over 100 add-ons over the years. I can honestly say the lever of timely support, prompt communication and results to ALL my inquires has been virtually unmatched. It's also great to see that Multi Crew Experience is still supporting P3D and willing to make improvements. I am finding me experience with MCE to be quite rewarding and coupling it with my VR experience is extremely beneficial. Thanks again to the entire MCE team !!
