February 27, 20224 yr MSFS itself occupies 176 GB, and I have 492 GB of add-ons stored on a different drive. I use addon-linker to select those add-ons needed for a particular flying session and place links to them in Community (currently I have several hundred links in there, which together take up less than 2GB).
