264GB occupied by MSFS?

Featured Replies

The simulator occupies 264 GB on my drive. Is it normal?

Depends on the scenery and aircraft you have added. Mine is 320GB so yours doesn't seem out of order.

Flightsim rig:
CPU: AMD 5900x  | Mobo: MSI X570 MEG Unify | RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3090 | Storage: M.2 (2 & 4 TB) | PSU: Corsair RM850x | Case: Fractal Define 7 XL
Display: Acer Predator x34 3440x1440 | Speakers: Logitech Z906
Controllers: Fulcrum One Yoke | MFG Crosswind v2 pedals | Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant |Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant | Stream Deck XL & Plus | TrackIR 5 Tobii eye tracking

MSFS itself occupies 176 GB, and I have 492 GB of add-ons stored on a different drive. I use addon-linker to select those add-ons needed for a particular flying session and place links to them in Community (currently I have several hundred links in there, which together take up less than 2GB).

Thanks for confirming.
That's a lot, I expected 100+ GB, not close to 300. I might have to move it on its own SSD.🤦‍♂️
