  1. Wonder what avionics options there will be... I don't see a GPS... selfishly I am hoping an A2A warbird with all these accusim features comes next!
  2. My favourites in VR... Flying Iron Warbirds.... Flyboy Simulations Rans S6S (One of the best flight models in the sim too), JustFlight Hawk...Vision Jet....Cessna 310 is good, CowanSim helis (VR and Helis is an awesome experience)
  3. Save your time, It does not appear to have come with any documentation.
  4. What do you mean? The speakers on the headset... when the engine is very bassy it seems to effect the cameras and make the image shake. I noticed this first in the 172 with the soundpack. When I mute, it went away.... In the Spitfire lately, it does it just a touch at certain power settings, but it makes the image look like the airframe is vibrating, much like real life so I don't mind it.
  5. I get the shaking with bassy sounds. The bass shakes the whole headset, and then the image shakes. Turning the volume down helps a bit. YMMV.
  6. The Rans Coyote is really really fun in VR... go fly into small strips... slip through the gap in the trees on final approach.... fantastic.
  7. Yes, Boris Audioworks. Fairly cheap upgrade to the sounds. He custom recorded everything from a real 172. For me sounds are a big factor in an airplane.
  8. Best GA airplane in the sim right now... and this is one of the reasons. I have been at an airport IRL and my battery died. Same dilemma, what the heck do I do now haha. The WB 172 with the soundpack is an awesome airplane, and what I will fly until the A2A Comanche comes along, because the downside is the 172 is slooooooowwww.
  9. As a fond pilot of the old FSX Real Air Duke, I agree with the comments on here. Smooth guages, great FM... I worry just a touch about expectations being met with the new one, however I look forward to being wrong.
  10. I thought I was imagining things, but no. Pre SU12, very smooth... I now have lots of screen tearing, and panning stutters. Also, a few major pauses here and there while in flight... 5 seconds frozen. Have not had this before. Nothing has changed on the graphics settings, this is flying in sky clear conditions over bare terrain...
  11. The WBSim 172 should be at the top of the list. It also takes advantage of all the new aerodynamic modelling that the sim has to offer, one of the only GA airplanes to do this. It is very complete, flies awesome, has all the system modelling, state saves everything... pair it with the soundpack for the 172... pretty awesome stuff.
  12. The only thing I desire with this airplane is... ok two things... LED landing lights and fuel state saving.
  13. Regarding placards, you don't have a choice. Placards are mandated by regulation to be in certain places on aircraft. If they are missing, the aircraft is no longer airworthy. Some are not mandatory to be fair, but the erroneous compass ones are, I am pretty sure.
  14. 80k... gives you some sense of what these devs can make... a good living!
  15. I have the 700, there is a nagging voice in my head saying get the 800, but I have held out. It will be too similiar. The Max would be great as that is what everyone is going to. The 737 is my fav jet in the sim to fly... can do long flights, short hops... very versatile and well done. Great immersion factor.
