2D views in FSX

Featured Replies

Just a very small question.I always liked the 2D views ( made from real-aircraft-photos) looking to the right, left rear etc.Now it looks like view like that are no more possible in FSX.The only cockpit we can look around in is the vc.As most of the views like that are of tear-jerking-quality I would like to have the 2d views available in FSX again. Is there any hope?Leen de Jager

Gentlemen,I just found a fix for this 2D problem....solved by guru Luciano Napolitano of WidevieW fame.....here is a link to his discovery and if you use Method 1.....all will be well in your world!http://www.wideview.it/fsx_sp1.htm Regards,Cap'n Tarmack>Can you give me a link or tell me where to find?>>>Thanks>>Leen

I am very sorry to say , but , that is not the solution of my problem.Removing the 3d views is not my goal.I am talking about having 2d views e.g. windows left and right from real photos.Like this example. This is a view (made by myself) for the Fokker F27 by Willem Bruins.Alltough this plane has a VC it is possible to have these 2d views alongside the 2d panel ,without losing the 3D views in the VCMy question is : Are views like this still possible in FSX ?And if the answer is yes , how to do that.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/171862.jpg

Good question, Leen, watching it.
