March 17, 20224 yr MSFS lighting is really good, as is the new haze, but I would love to have heat haze in the sim for an extra bit of realism. Any clever developers out there who could do this? Anyone else think heat haze would be good? March 18, 20224 yr Sure would be nice, but it's a bit difficult to include because the effect is only visible from a certain (low) angle and disappears once the airplane took off. No idea how difficult it is to reliably control that in the sim. I think Asobo really have enough on their table in regards to weather bugs (overcasts, popcorns, gusts you name it), so I can't see them adding new stuff in the near future. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
