Mapping controls disfunction in VR

Featured Replies

Hello all,

This post is due to a total frustration with MSFS ... It is not a rant, and I really need help.

Firstly, I have been able to have a total of 3 successful flights since update 7, repeat, update 7.

The reason is that every time I log into MSFS I have to remap all my controls. All mapped controls work normally in non VR flight which I no longer use.

The remapping takes up top an hour and a half and this is after lots and lots of practice LOL

I have tried to copy and save the mapping controls in WGS but this does not work either for the next log in and flight set up.

Has anyone had this same problem and what can I do to rectify it. I have got to the stage where I log in to MSFS, set up a flight, find out mapping has changed, log out and fly XPlane as it is simply too time consuming and frustrating to carry on with this nonsense.

This is not a community folder problem as I have exactly the same problem with a vanilla reinstall of MSFS2020.

Any help or suggestions (well ... nice ones anyway) will be appreciated as usual.

Regards
