Assistance required please - default flight

Featured Replies

HiI dont know if this has been asked before, a search of the forum has not provided an answer.Problem is: I wish to start FSX in free flight page as default just as occurred in Fs2004.FSX starts with with a flight using Air Creation Trike Ultralight aircraft around location Friday Harbor. Is it possible to achieve this.Assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated.noels7

Everyone should create a flight at an airport in their local time zone - and save the flight - checking the Save as Default Flight box.I've not tried to save on in the air - but it should work.Unlike FS2004 where we had to go through a couple cycles to change the default flight - FSX is pretty easy to change.

In air works too. So just setup AND start a flight the way you want it to be, set everything the way you want, and after that save it while checking the Default flight box. The great thing is that in FS X everything is saved: weather, radiofrequencies, you can set the cockpit cold and dark (or anything you want) and even (a big plus for FS X) the sizes of the ATC window, radiostack, GPS, etc. etc. are saved! I remember from previous version I always had to manually change the size and position of various items: not so in FS X! :)
