Difference in color intensity of new airplanes

Featured Replies

I use PTA. How to deal with a significate difference in color intensity of new airplanes installed in P3D 4.5?

Your difference is probably with PBR vs non-PBR airplanes.

PTA does not do anything to change PBR airplanes, as far as I know. So unfortunately not much can be done other than adjusting the non-PBR airplanes so they look the same as the PBR ones through trial and error.

Thank's for the answer! Now the question is how do I adjust the non-PBR airplanes so they look as the PBR ones? In detail, please. I'm not that good in data......

With regards

Without modifying the underlying code for the aircraft, I don't think you can.

Gigabyte x670 Aorus Elite AX MB; AMD 7800X3D CPU; Deepcool LT520 AIO Cooler; 64 Gb G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO DDR5 6000; Win11 Pro; P3D V5.4; 1 Samsung 990 2Tb NVMe SSD: 1 Crucial 4Tb MX500 SATA SSD; 1 Samsung 860 1Tb SSD; Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 1080ti 11Gb VRAM; Toshiba 43" LED TV @ 4k; Honeycomb Bravo.

Then I have to live with it. It's been an annoying observation for quite some time. What about updating to v5. Is it the same there??

with regards

No it's certatinly possible. I did it myself.

I don't have PTA installed anymore because I'm on v5 but the options should be on aircraft brightness in the lighting section.

That's for adjusting the lighting so that the lighting matches the PBR lighting. Not making them actually PBR with reflections.
