April 8, 20224 yr P3Dv4.5 finding unable to receive the directional signal for EEN (109.4) in multiple aircraft with and without GPSs. Funny thing, the DME shows the distance but neither the HSI nor the secondary VOR when tuned to the frequency activate the course-to needle. It works fine for other VORs in the vicinity. Have reduced scenery to just the basics that come with P3Dv4.5. If anyone else has experienced this and found a solve please let me know. Thanks in advance.
April 8, 20224 yr EEN on 109.4 is not a VOR. It is a DME only, and the behavior of the aircraft systems is correct. It may have been a VOR at one time in the past, but the FAA is decommissioning many VORs, and in some cases, converting them to stand-alone DMEs.
