General idea I had about connection flights at X plane 11

Featured Replies

Just an idea I had : is it possible to do a connection flight at X plane11?

example: KJFK-EHAM-ZBAD

KJFK-Start

EHAM-Connection

ZBAD-End

Thanks.

Why not ?

Provided you have the aircraft, the airports and the fuel, and preferabluy also some flight planning software to help and, maybe a good weather injectpor or enhancer and even ATC app, that's all you need I guess ?

I do understand what you are saying, but there is no tutorial about the fmc data insert (as you can tell by my name I’m not the most professional;))

Im also using sim brief and there is no option for me to add another airport.
Again thanks a lot I do appreciate the help.

There are no "connection flights" in the real world.

You fly from A to B and land. Thats it.

You may then fly from B to C a while later, but you never fly A-B-C.

The FMS is meant to work accordingly - after landing it resets and you can then enter the next flight.

Ah @737noob Ok, I see !

You might program, on aircraft with that option, an alternate / secondary route, from your connection airport. But I guess IRW it would actually take place in two distinc legs, one from origin and connection, the other from there to the final destination.
