April 10, 20224 yr Wanted to see if this had come up with anyone else....I am on a Mac and latest LittleNav Map version and I fly Xplane 11 with a StreamDeck button box.The StreamDeck can open any app or file etc using the Open button option. I have never had any trouble with it opening anything... but if I make an Open button for LittleNav Map it doesn't work..??? I get a Terminal shell script type of box but it doesn't open LNM.. I can open it fine from the Dock icon or the icon on the Desktop but not from the StreamDeck.... what do you think??
April 11, 20224 yr Author I figured out that it will launch from StreamDeck but the app has to be on the Desktop. I tried many other ways and no go. I even put it in a Folder that was on the Desktop and that didn't work. But it works if its on the Desktop by itself....? No other apps behave like that...why is that? LNM should start as any other application from StreamDeck or the command line. Just make sure that the current working folder is set to the LNM installation folder. Settings are always stored in Roaming no matter how LNM is started. Also do not install LNM in the restricted C:\Programs folder. I usually add a folder like "C.\Users\YOURLOGIN\My Programs" and put it there with other applications having no installer. Desktop should be fine too. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
April 11, 20224 yr Author maybe Mac OS put it in a Mac restricted folder cause I had to give permission to open it when it was installed........but it opens from the Desktop so I will keep it there.

I see. Sorry, I read your post too fast and did not see the macOS reference. I was talking about Windows. But I'd recommend putting the program on "Desktop" or a folder like "/Users/YOURLOGINNAME/My Programs" on macOS too. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
