NEW GTN 750 RELEASE V2.1.27 See https://pms50.com/ - Autopilot page: Up and Down buttons available in pitch mode. - Added a new autopilot module (named APGA) to simplify the building of autopilot panels. This version works on SU9 beta but has not been fully tested. So it is a beta for SU9 but stays a release for SU8 (no change from the v 2.1.22). So it can be installed and will work in SU8 too.

From v2.1.27, PMS50 provides a new autopilot module named APGA that could greatly simplify the work of building an autopilot panel. The idea is to define the panel on a buttons perspective: an autopilot panel is just a set of buttons and/or knobs and eventually a screen to display the autopilot state. The APGA directly manages the logic behind that. The work of the autopilot panel builder is then limited to send the H event to the APGA corresponding to the buttons or knobs and to get back some L variables to display the autopilot state. The APGA is a standalone component completely independent of the GTN750 or any other gauge. It's open source. The documentation is available here: https://pms50.com/fs2020/gtn750/APGA.pdf

As an aircraft provider, if you are interested to participate to the project you should contact us on discord by private message. We'll then invite you to the dedicated channel.

PSA: The last two versions of the Nxi cannot communicate with the GTN750 mod.   A sync-fix file is required.    IMO,  it's EXTREMELY easy for anyone to miss the Discord post that specifies this.

Currently, the Nxi v0.11.0 cannot communicate any more with the GTN750 because Working Title has changed the way to synchronize instruments and the new way doesn't work with the toolbar panels. We made a patch (as a package) for the G1000 Nxi 0.11.0 that fixes this issue. The patch restores the old sync mechanism without changing the new 0.11.0 features. Just install it in the community folder (only if your are using the G1000Nxi). DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE IT WHEN THE NEXT WT G1000 NXI IS AVAILABLE. The patch is available at: https://pms50.com/fs2020/gtn750/zWTnxi-0.11.0-sync-fix.zip

And just to clarify,  this morning I received confirmation in the PMS Discord that the file is indeed still nesc.

Yes, it's needed until WT implements a new sync process that works with toolbar panels. I think they already made that and could be in their next Nxi release.

I bought a tablet to use as a screen for the GTN750 (my only motivation to use the 750) with Space Desk. While ever other program I move to that screen works by touch, the PMS50 GTN750 doesn't. Anyone have any luch getting the 750 to work with a touch screen outside of the VC one in the plane?

I've never tried myself,  all I could find was some 2021 posts on Discord.

unfortunately, touch events are not transmitted by Asobo to the javascript code. They have to change that in order to be able to use a touch screen monitor.

Touchscreen was my only motivation to move over to the 750 from the 530/430 and G1000 in what I fly. I have a CE so I basically have touch screen with those GPS. It would have been nice to have the 750 as a touchscreen for some planes though, but I guess that's not going to happen anytime soon.
