April 13, 20224 yr I dont recall this being an issue in the past (at least not before filing a flight plan). In the recent betas, I cannot change my callsign without exiting and restarting the program. Not sure if this is a bug or design intent (hope its not intentional.)
April 14, 20224 yr Commercial Member Something must be wrong with your installation. You can just change it in Config and press the Save button in the Call Sign box and it immediately shows at the bottom of the main window, even if you are connected. However, you will have to disconnect and reconnect to the SIM as that will allow the new CallSign to be injected into the Speech Grammars. Dave

I'll roll back from the beta to the previous full release and see if the problem goes away and if it does, I'll then re-install the P beta load and see if it returns.
May 21, 20224 yr Author Took me forever to find time to validate but I've confirmed this is a 2.6.3.1 public beta 2 bug. It does not exist on the previous non beta version. You do have to close the app to change your callsign in the beta (I did confirm that the previous version works exactly as Dave said for me, I only had to disconnect/reconnect to the sim.)
