April 25, 20224 yr Commercial Member If ATC assigns a procedure, it's up to you to enter or change it in the flight plan. ATC will make the change in its version of the plan, but the displayed version and map are not altered. If you want to have ATC not make any changes, then you should uncheck the ATC Assigns xxx options on the FltPln tab of Config. Dave
April 25, 20224 yr Author ok no problem. I thought the flightplan gets updated automatically. So if I update the departure after clearance I have to file the plan again and request it again? Edited April 25, 20224 yr by Commander_K
April 25, 20224 yr Commercial Member Yes. Think of ATC as a separate entity like in the real world. If you want a change, you need to refile and get clearance again. Some changes you can request verbally,but changing a SID or other procedure does require refiling. If, for example, you are departing without a SID, you can verbally request a departure runway change. Dave
