To all Streamdeck users, please help us get this feature!

Featured Replies

I am asking for everyone's help in getting this feature request seen by Elgato. It's such a simple feature, but it is desperately lacking in the streamdeck software.

I have attempted to write it myself through a custom plugin even, but unfortunately, the SDK doesn't let you command a profile change to a profile that isn't part of your own plugin, which defeats the purpose.

So please help out by upvoting this issue, and making sure it lands in the front page of elgato's subreddit. I can't think of another way to get the message across to them.

Speaking as a developer, I know this is a dead simple feature to add, that would MASSIVELY boost the potential of the unit.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

A Previous Profile button would be a great advancement for the Stream Deck.
And what if we could have a feature to allow us to edit two profiles side by side? Imagine being able to drag and drop between profiles.

That doesn't sound too hard. Did nobody ever try to make an external editor for SD profiles? They look like they are just a JSON file, a bunch of subfolders with pictures in them and using a lot of GUIDs? And maybe a small SQLite database.
