Question about Hot Start Challenger 650.

Featured Replies

Hey there,

I recently purchased the hot start Challenger 650, great plane. I'm not having any trouble with it; I just have a question. On Navigraph, it says "With a Navigraph Ultimate Subscription, you can use the multifunction display (MFD) of the Hot Start Challenger 650 to access the full Jeppesen Charts library through Navigraph Charts," I have a Navigraph Ultimate subscription, I was just wondering HOW to view charts on the MFD of the 650.

First, you have to open the User Settings for the CL650 and enable "Navigraph.com" as an E-Charts provider on the "Networking" tab. That's also the same tab where you can configure your Simbrief credentials for fetching flight plans directly into the CDU.

Checking that box won't initially do anything but the next time you enter the aircraft cockpit and activate the avionics, you should get a prompt to log in to your Navigraph account and allow the CL650 to access your account. You should only have to do this once.

Once that's configured, you should be able to access your charts by hitting the "Chart" button on the CCP. I believe you need to have a flight plan loaded into the CDU first, though, in order for the aircraft to know what chart(s) to display.
