Since the servers came back online for me, I have re-started the sim several times, all seems well,  but I no longer get the "checking for updates" screen. The opening screen is also different after I click the icon to start the sim.

Anyone else notice?

I noticed it too, but since SU9 release.

It happens since SU9, seems they changed the initial screen sequence
