FSX-MS G1000

I have just loaded my C172 with the G1000, looking at my screens they are both really dark to the point that I can only just see them,can anyone please explain how to get back to the normal screens please.

In the 172 all your brightness controls are left of the main stick you should see 4 dials one is for "avionics" that will adjust the Garmin for you.

Seen those but nothing works and all I see in the screen where numbers should be are 'XXX' and this is also the same in the co-pilots screen

Is this an add-on aircraft or a default MicroSoft aircraft?  If it is a default aircraft, there is no brightness adjustment for instrument lighting.

It's the default but I've cured it by doing a repair and then a reset, so still not sure what caude it. Thnaks for the help anyway.
