Maddy Prior and Tim Hart were a struggling London folk duo and Ashley Hutchings left Fairport Convention, a traditional British folk band after an automobile accident had decimated it. This is the earliest video of them I'm almost sure. And was restored from an old home video tape with digital processing. Music from centuries past.

Not entirely my cup of tea but I do remember seeing them somewhere in the 70's. Possibly Hastings Pier or maybe Reading festival. A good gig which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Liam Genockey the drummer who joined them in 89 lives in my home town I believe.

Maddy is the only one in the video still in the group.
I don't know any modern hit 'tunes' of today, they don't interest me. You can't dance to them like you could that jig.

Folk and Folk rock  was quite popular in those days, Folk Clubs popping up all over the place. I quite liked Lindisfarne, Fog on the Tyne was one of the first LP's I bought.
