Installation of Stream Deck Plug in Question

Recommended Posts

I have a Stream Deck XL en-route and have been trying to set myself up for success when it arrives but, a general question I can't seem to find the answer to is how do you install the Lorby Axis and Ohs Elgato Stream Deck Plug In?

I've downloaded and unzipped the plug in package to a folder on my hard drive but it only contains the .pdf read me that I followed, activating  “Enable Web API on port 9080” in the “Tools”. The only other file included was a .streamDeckPlugin file:

com.lorbysi.aao.streamDeckPlugin

I envisioned having to run an .exe or import the streamDeckPlugin file into Axis and Ohs to 'Install It'... What am I missing?

Once you have the Elgato StreamDeck software installed, all files ending on ".streamDeckPlugin" will be associated with it and get the StreamDeck symbol. Then you extract that file from the zip and doubleclick it.
