June 9, 20223 yr Commercial Member Anyone tried this with any flight simulators? In almost every respect this sounds like a great gaming monitor, and the black handling could be what I've always wanted for night flying. Just one small thing occurred to me, text clarity can be an issue according to some reviews (albeit focussed to an office environment). I wondererd if flight instruments might prove harder to read? (PS I'd almost certainly buy this anyway, expect for the fact that even if I ordered it today Dell can't deliver to me in the UK before October) www.supertrafficboard.com

Didn't have any issue with text. Believe I increased text to either 125/150% as I do on the 4K screen. I was moving it one day and accidentally slipped and hit the corner of the desk and cracked the screen. Awkward to move. Doh! I would get another one if my 4K screen craps out. Semper Fi
July 20, 20223 yr Author Commercial Member I have a 34" curved gigabyte, and was horrified when I put an enormouse scratch on the panel after managing to drop a keyboard on it. Amazingly the pencil eraser trick worked and it was as good as new again, www.supertrafficboard.com
July 25, 20223 yr OLED is amazing, you cannot beat it, especially for night flying. The only thing to watch out for is eye strain, be careful with the gamma as those high OLED contrasts can be fatiguing if you don't set things up right. AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram
