July 5, 20223 yr Do you by any chance use any Razer software? I was getting micro stutters as well and I figured out it was the Razer software doing that. Also which nvidia driver version are you on? The last two drivers are known to cause issues with P3D. The current stable version for P3D is 512.59. It also depends a lot on your settings. If all the above is good, then I'd suggest you clear your shaders located in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Shaders\ and even Prepar3d.cfg to restore your shaders/settings to default and see if you still get those stutters.
July 5, 20223 yr Author Razer Sofware no, the nvida drivers I was checking if it was also affecting at this moment I have the 511.23, I'm going to download the ones you say and try Jose Zubillaga
July 5, 20223 yr These days, if I see stutters when panning, it's almost always cleared up by reducing or eliminating AI traffic. Some sceneries, like FSDT's KORD, are much more prone to it than others. July 5, 20223 yr Author I do not have AI traffic, no scenarios FSDT, I'm going to try with the nvidia driver Jose Zubillaga
July 6, 20223 yr 2 hours ago, zubillagajose said: change the driver, the stutters continue Might be a long shot suggestion, but do you have G-sync enabled? I have a similar machine as yours and experienced almost constant stutters in the cockpit with G-sync enabled. I turned it off through the Nvidia Control Panel and the sim is more fluid for me. Hope this helps! July 6, 20223 yr Author thanks for your help, do you mean vsyn or gsync? or leave the synchronization fixed? Jose Zubillaga
July 6, 20223 yr 2 hours ago, zubillagajose said: thanks for your help, do you mean vsyn or gsync? or leave the synchronization fixed? Correct, I meant G-sync. I limit the frame rate of P3D to 30 FPS inside of the Nvidia Control Panel (I also set the P3D target frame rate limiter to “Unlimited” inside P3D) and disable G-sync entirely. On my setup at least it provides a fairly fluid experience. I believe there is a “V-sync” setting in the program settings menu for P3D inside the Nvidia Control Panel, but I leave this at the default value. I would try the settings I mentioned above and see if that makes a difference.
