I recently watched one of the video tutorials for the PMDG 737-700, and was delighted to see the numerous options that were available for the equipment and displays etc in the aircraft, allowing you to configure each aircraft individually. I configured one with an Easyjet livery, and thought it would be saved automatically - but apparently not, unless I made a mistake. I then switched to the BA livery, and thought I could 'Load from another plane' - when I selected this, I got a load of references from which I could choose, and I am not sure how to proceed from here, or what the references are - other than aircraft - and if so - how do I identify each aircraft reference.

So, what I am trying to do, and for which I am seeking help is:

• Configure an aircraft with the equipment and displays of my choice
• Be able to save that configuration
• Copy that configuration to other 737 aircraft

Any help, thoughts and comments greatly appreciated.

 

Edit: I missed this video when I was looking on my iPhone, and I think this will give me all the info I need. Left the message, as it may be useful for other simmers.

You go in PMDG Setup/Aircraft and Options.

Click on Panel State Save.

Go into the PMDG setup > Aircraft > Equipment or Display menus in the FMC main menu and just select whatever you like. It's saved automatically to the aircraft configuration file, no need to click save anywhere. If you want to transfer options from another aircraft, go into PMDG setup > Aircraft > Load from another and select the airframe registration you want to load the configuration from. This again is saved automatically after loading the configuration.

Save the Panel Stave if you custom your Cold And Dark.
