Pilot2ATC in VR

Recommended Posts

Hi Dave.

Pilot2ATC is a fantastic ATC software to run when I'm flying in 2D, but in VR mode it is very difficult to interact with. Have you ever thought of developing a GUI to work in the VR environment?

Thank you!

Seconded, although probably a huge amount of work. If you're on WMR you can bring the desktop into the cockpit.  Frame rate can suffer a bit though.

I am on SteamVR and use OVR Toolkit when I use Pilot2ATC on X-Plane. I also stream on Twitch and move my vods to YouTube so you can see it in action there.

For me a no go since I'm not using WMR. And indeed the frame rate impact and the clumsiness of a whole desktop! Not my piece of cake!

e.g. Navigraph and also Sky4Sim have a VR interface via the toolbar. For an experienced programmer it shouldn't be that complicated i.m.o.

Cheers, Edward
