I have some mods where I was moving the folders around trying to locate a mod causing me a problem.  Now whenever I try to install one of these files back into into the community folder, the sim content manager will not work.  It's as if they've become encrypted or something from moving them around too many times.  I have the same problem even if I redownload them and install a fresh file into the community folder.  I'm stumped, any ideas?

You don’t use Addonlinker, do you? Would try that to dis/enable mods instead of moving files manually around. Sorry as this does not answer your original question
