July 23, 20223 yr Can someone advise the location of the Falcon 50 configuration manager installation location? I just installed the aircraft for P3Dv5.3 in Windows 11 and I cannot find the configuration utility/payload manager. I don't have a Flysimware folder in my start menu. I checked the aircraft folder in P3D/Simobjects but it's not there. Beyond configuring the payload I also need to install the RXP GTN into the aircraft. Thanks Paul Biderman
July 23, 20223 yr Author The manual states: "Ater the Installer runs you will find a folder on your desktop called Flysimware Falcon 50 Info. Inside you will find a sub folder called PAYLOAD MANAGER INSTALLATION. Once you locate the PAYLOAD MANAGER INSTALLATION folder read the instructions included to figure out which installation is required for you simulator." This did not happen with my installation. There is no Info folder. There is no Payload Manager Installation folder anywhere on my computer that I can find via searching in Windows Explorer. In the simobjects aircraft folder>panel folder there's a Panel Manager xml file but it's not readable in Notepad++. So I'm at a loss here? Edited July 23, 20223 yr by gollum65
July 23, 20223 yr I do have a Flysimware entry under Start on my Win10 system, and the Configuration Management tool is located at "C:\FLYSIMWARE\FLYSIMWARE FALCON50 INFO\Flysimware Falcon 50 Management Tool.exe" This tool lets you change the GPS units installed in the Falcon50 (you have to own the third party units) and looks like this: The Payload Manager (fuel, passengers) is accessed once the Falcon50 is loaded into the sim using Shift+3 (you can also get to it via Shift+2) and looks like this: Note that to make fuel changes you need to have the fuel truck loaded as shown above (click inside the red box). July 23, 20223 yr Author Thanks! Win11 doesn't have the traditional start menu like all the previous Windows did, and I didn't think to look on the root C drive because my sims are on the D drive. So thanks for pointing it out. 🙂
