Flight Monitor & Fenix A320 | "Misaligned" bank?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I recently noticed that on my last 30+ landings, the report's landing information always shows a 1° bank on touch down.
I find this "consistency" a bit strange, and I know that I have had very leveled out touchdowns as well. Plus, on the curves you can also always see a 1° "bank" even during rollout.

Could it be that the Fenix and Aviaserver are somehow misaligned?

Hi Stu,

please send the corresponding 'lastapproach.dat' file. Then I can check if it's a graphing issue or if there is something else going on.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Stu,

I took a look at your recorded approach data and it shows you landed with 0.6° of bank angle. In the summary listed on the top, this will get rounded to 1°. But in the plot it won't be so the deviation from 0° will be very small.

All in all, your approach looked very stable and smooth so I wouldn't worry about a 0.6° bank angle at touchdown 🙂

Okay, I'll stop chasing the zero then 😄

Thanks!
