August 5, 20223 yr Hello all be easy on me lol....I have been using pilot2atc for about a week. I am starting to get the hang of things slowly I have read the manual and did my research to the best of my abilities. My question... on the STAR seems like I always get vectored and headings given I believe are correct but I usually end up doing a direct to and flying back to the transition which is most likely my fault. SO is there a way to force pilot2atc to follow the star and approach without vectoring until get the hang of the program? Thanks
August 5, 20223 yr Commercial Member Vectors are typically given when the intercept angle to final from the STAR is greater than about 60-70 degrees. Also, if the STAR or Approach Transition has a Manual Termination in the AIRAC data..There is no way to turn this off. If you get vectors, you can see the track in Gold, or if it doesn't appear, you can press the APPR button to the right of the map. If you haven't already, you probably should update to the latest Public Beta version as it does have some fixes for descents and vectoring. The next Public Beta 7 will have even more fixes for the arrival and approach phases. Dave
