Fenix A320 Support not working for me!

Recommended Posts

Hi

Have the same problem as above:
"In order to allow co-pilot to control all switches accurately, please restart the flight (not the simulator, then restart MCE."

Deleted fsuipc-lvar folder

I've reinstalled MCE

Checked fsuipc folder recreates as above

Tried fenix livery and restarted a few times without luck.

Just started flying again after about a year off...
Got the Fenix about a week ago but have not been able to start MCE.
(Except once or twice... very odd! But then MCE can only control very few of the buttons in the Airbus)
(Another odd thing... The parking brake is set to off when MCE is started and when finished loading set to on again)
Have not started any other aircraft except the Fenix at all.

Download this revised file:

http://www.multicrewxp.com/Simco64_Ldr.zip

Unzip and manually replace "Simco64_Ldr.exe" in \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder.

Obeserve this rule when using MCE with MSFS

Whatever complex plane you intend to fly MUST be set as the one MSFS loads on startup and only start MCE once the plane has completed loading.

This ensures only the relevant aircraft custom variables are loaded.

When you switch from say Inibuild A310 which has about 3000 lvars to Fenix A320 (which has about 2200) fsuipc would hit its limit of lvar accumulation (Around 3000).

In an ideal world, when the aircraft is unloaded, it should de-register its custom variables. Unfortunately it's not happening for whatever reason.

The only planes you can switch between without the need to restart the sim or MCE are the default ones as not only they have very few custom lvars, but all interaction with them happens via Simconnect and the same default variables are read and set.

I don't know if there is a way in MSFS to set a specific aircraft to always load on start-up (like FSX used to). This way, you could start MSFS with Cessna or even simpoler plane and then load any of the supported complex planes.

Quick and excellent support!
Thank you!

Seems to be working now. Copilot is moving the armrest!

Something went wrong when I did the reinstall earlier today though...
All VoxScripts are gone!?

Nothing at all in the VoxScript overview. Nothing to import either!?

You're welcome.

Maybe you manually deletedthe \Multi Crew Experience\ folder in \My Documents\. That's where the customisable flows go.

You can re-create the default ones by running the app wizard briefly and without going through speech training.

Windows Start->Multi Crew Experience->run app wizard.

Exit as soon as it starts.

Some flows are now added via the installer, therefore, I suggest the following

Un-install MCE via Windows Control Panel.

Do NOT delete anything manually.

If you downloaded installer prior to yesterday evening, install MCE then replace "Simco64_Ldr.exe"

Anyone who downloaded today doesn't need to patch as the more up to date file is already included.

That's what I did... silly me!

Tossed them back in from a backup.
(But good to know about the wizard)

All good now... flying the Fenix for the first time now!

😎
