August 6, 20223 yr Hi, Is there a way to change the frequency separation in Pilot2Atc from 25KHz to 8.33kHz. Some of the frequencies used in Europe are otherwise not reachable, or slightly different from what the app proposes. Usually the app is the same or close to the actual frequencies, but sometimes its not. Often this is due to rounding. Any suggestions where to look for this setting? Kind regards, Rick
August 7, 20223 yr Commercial Member No. Supporting 8.33kHz spacing is on the list for improvements in a future version. The AIRAC data for P2A does round any 8.33kHz spaced frequencies to a 25kHz spaced frequency. The best thing to do for now is to look up the frequencies in P2A Freq window for the nearby frequencies or in the Info window for a specific airport. Dave
August 12, 20223 yr Author Thanks. It's a pity as I use the map to find the frequencies in Europe and just tune to those, to avoid using the interface from p2atc with the mouse. Looking forward to the future versions! Thanks for this great product.
August 13, 20223 yr X Plane I use the Logitech radio panel and the XSaitekpanels X Plane plugin. The optional 8.33 set up is set within the plugin's *.ini fle - and it works fine. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wxa5jsk65aw0rl9/Screenshot 2022-08-13 162306.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/z65uxioct1mwwej/Screenshot 2022-08-13 162326.jpg?dl=0 The decimal point next to 130.97. indicates 0.5. https://www.dropbox.com/s/j1p4vrbuno2tjqy/20220813_164704.jpg?dl=0 FS2020 In FS2020 - and I'll have to check! - the instrument readouts are the same, as is the frequency in P9ilot2ATC but there is no ATIS sound. (Plot2ATC's 'radio check' and 'cleared for departure' stuff is fine.) I use the Logitech plugin for FS2020. (Which also works on X Plane.) https://www.dropbox.com/s/0paxu95xtqvemmt/Screenshot 2022-08-13 162934.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/h4i9mx5qkf1kj21/Screenshot 2022-08-13 162918.jpg?dl=0 So, I simply use it! And I like it!
August 13, 20223 yr That's all a bit of circular reasoning, by me, I think. Nonetheless, despite what frequency Pilot2ATC suggest, and what is advised in Pilot23ATC, the sim seems to sort it out. Edited August 13, 20223 yr by The_Flying_Potato
