Where I get my RW flight plans

Recommended Posts

Guest BobKK

I'm sure many of you are aware of this sight (or perhaps other similar sites) but at:http://flightaware.com/live/you can get real world IFR flight plans flown by commercial airlines, bizjets, even small private aircraft. At this sight, in the "Resources" section, you can also view and/or download any instrument approaches or SIDS/STARS for any particular airport. You can look up a flight between any two airports, say KBOS to KLAX and incorporate the waypoints into your flight planner. The flight plans can be obtained for most airports in the US and Canada and you can look them up by Air Carrier, type of aircraft, or Airport.Bob

You can also get emailed when a particular N number files a flight plan-and another when it launches.I use it to track my past airplane (Beech debonair for fs2002-2004) and my present. It is fun after you do a flight to check the route out, and weather is even overlayed. It is a great service!http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg
