August 19, 20223 yr Hey folks, I’ve searched high and low for this (here and elsewhere), but nowhere can I find an explanation for what the “Flight Mode” setting within the Fenix EFB is for. Any ideas?

Any ideas? It simulates the device being set to flight mode, like a smartphone, so the device doesn't have an interfering connection. It's more or less a fun addition, to add some realism: it doesn't have a real purpose.

They should have just called it "Airplane Mode" like every tablet/phone does. OK I'll ignore it then. :)

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
