Double-click on an airport from the search

Featured Replies

Hello Alex,
I'm a "luser" when it comes to using LittleNavMap. What bothers me a bit about the intuitive operation is the following:

If I look for an airport in the search (e.g. EDDH) and double click on it, then information about the airport is displayed, it is displayed on the map, but why aren't the procedures switched to this airport as well?
I have to additionally right-click the airpot I'm looking for and select "Show all Procedures" each time.

Why isn't this done automatically with the double-click?

Best regards
Raller

Because it would switch to the other tab which might be annoying like pulling a rug from under your feet. You can use the keyboard shortcuts to get there. "Ctrl+Shift+R" will open the procedures tab for the first airport in the search result list. This works also from the input field. Same in flight plan table.

For example:
Press "F4" to go to the airport search, enter "EDDF" and press "Ctrl+Shift+R". This will switch to the procedure tab for EDDF.

BTW: Keyboard shortcuts are also shown in the context menus.

Another option to open the procedure tab is in "Tools" -> "Options" on page "Map". Click "Open Procedures on airport click" there. This is only for the map but a single click on an airport will show the procedures.

Hope this helps.

I don't mean that it should switch to the tab, but it should "preload" the procedures of this airport when I double-click on the airport I am looking for.

When I then go to the procedures tab, the correct airport is already called up there and not some other airport from last time!

I will take your options. Thank you for your answer and your work...

Hmmm. Makes sense. Let's see. I cannot load the procedure for every selected airport since it takes too much time but maybe as an option for a delayed loading.
