MSFS integration with Saitek Pro Panel and Megascenery

Recommended Posts

Hi Simmers. I am new to this forum, but would value your advice.

Does anyone know if the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is OK with Saitek Pro Instrument Panels, and also will it be OK for Megascenery?

I am based in Australia and the Megascenery packages are much better than others I have seen.

Thoughts?

I don't know, but I don't think MSFS 2020 works with megascenery.

MSFS 2020 does work perfectly with Saitek Pro Instrument panels. You can drive the panels with Axis and Ohs (the easiest and cheapest) or with SpadNext. The saitek drivers aren't programmable, but AAO and Spad are programmable.

The large panels (multi, radio, and switch) and the little instrument panels like these all work fine to be driven and programmed by AAO for MSFS.

You can see how the instrument panels slope backwards to make them more readable than if they faced straight ahead.

So do the 3 larger panels when stacked. Two of those are stacked in this video. (3 Saitek a.k.a. Logitech panels are the second thing I bought  after MSFS came out).

Ryzen5 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, TWO Dell S3222DGM 32" screens spanned with Nvidia surround 5185 x 1440p, 32 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, CH Flightstick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.

Thanks for that Fielder. I suspect MSFS doesn't work with Megascenery either, but couldn't get clarification. I have X-Plane 11 but have had nothing but trouble trying to set it up, and the scenery for Australia is extremely limited and artificial. Megascenery won't work with X-Plane.

Cheers

If we are talking about the Megascenery photoscenery that we used to use in FSX and P3D, that's so '2018'.

MSFS's scenery engine makes it completely redundant.
