My friend is getting 45 to 50fps in VR, with Quest 2 on max resolution via link cable, but he has 3090 GPU.

Me, in the other hand, with 1080ti, barely getting 25 to 30fps, with 37xx resolution in oculus, which is one or two steps above 1.0x (or the resolution in standalone mode). I use 4xMSAA to kill the shimmering, max clouds, and medium autogen (LOAD and density).
You need a really beefy GPU at the moment to enjoy VR in XP12. Let's hope LR releases few patches for a better VR performance, not to mention fixing the jittering with headtracking. I use SteamVR in XP11, and it's godly smooth, best VR experience in any sim.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
