September 19, 20223 yr Anyone seen a new button box or similar,2022, that has at least some rotaries that work good ( and tried them on altitude and heading assignments) and show up in X plane as a controller .....?I tried a little one I got on Etsy and it didn't work well at all in X.It could do key commands but it was terrible in X,stuttering and crashing all the time.Several sim companies have made button boxes etc but not many have rotaries that can smoothly adjust things like heading and altitude etc....Why is something so useful hard to find?
September 19, 20223 yr Might I recommend the Behringer X-Touch Mini? It makes for an awesome "button box" in X-Plane and has more rotary encoders than you can shake a stick at (as long as your physical stick-shaking limit is 8!):https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0B3M It doesn't have *native* support in X-Plane but it's supported by SPAD.next (payware), X-Keypad (payware), or XMidiCtrl (freeware). Best US$100(ish) you'll spend in my opinion. Edited September 19, 20223 yr by Malaromane
