September 24, 20223 yr Hi, I did a clean installation of my MSFS2020 sim, but I am no longer able to load the scenario library with the stable version 2.6.19, as I get this error: Caught exception Error reading "C:/User/fabio/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/Content.xml" on line 6 column 13: Premature end of document. Thank you, No problem with the 2.8.0 Beta version. Fabio I.
September 24, 20223 yr There were some changes to the Content.xml which appear only if you use the MSFS developer mode to prioritize the packages. You can either delete the content.xml or use the 2.8 beta. Does this file serve any purpose at all now? At least it is not documented. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
September 24, 20223 yr Author I deleted the content.xml file and the problem is gone. Let's just hope the file is useless. Fabio Fabio I.

The most important information for me: Quote Quote Second question: do I understand it correctly that the content.xml is no used at all anymore? Correct - under normal conditions you don´t need this file. I see this now more for developers rather than for end-user. You're safe to delete it. Or rename it if you'd like to have a backup. I'm a bit hesitant to make another 2.6.20 release while the 2.8 is evolving nicely (fixing bugs and stuff now). Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
