July 1, 200718 yr I'm experiencing fairly frequent program crashes in FSX (during takeoff mainly)-the system reboots itself.I get a BSOD error:BAD_POOL_ERROR. Any advice on how to fix this? Using FSX SP1 on XP SP2 with a 7600GS(v 165.01 drivers) and FSUIPC v4.12
July 1, 200718 yr Moderator Hi,I Googled BAD_POOL_ERROR and it returned many hits so you might want to try it yourself. Some indicate it may be memory.Has it always happened or can you think of something you've changed recently that may have caused it? New drivers? New software?Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). One faulty memory stick. To see if you are having the same problem, you may want to download the MemTest86+ utility from http://www.memtest.org/download/1.70/memtest86+-1.70.iso.zipPlease point your browser to http://www.memtest.org to see how this utility work.
