  1. Have you tried rebooting your PC since updating? I initially experienced the same thing. I rebooted my PC and now I'm get the same if not better performance.
  2. Don't let the door hit you on the way out...
  3. For those of you with DOF motion platforms I just discovered that SRS now has a beta version out that supports FS2024. I'm looking forward to trying it out but won't get a chance until tomorrow. Happy flying!
  4. So you think that if the developers of BATC sold it, for lets say $30 that they would be only breaking even and not making any profit?
  5. So you believe that they would not be happy enough just making money off selling the product but would also add additional profit in marking up the price of the voices packages they offer?
  6. I'm curious as to what makes you believe it's an untrue statement?
  7. I really enjoyed using it when it first came out. But now that I fly exclusively in VR I'm going to wait for the VR menu version. I think it's on the to do list down the road.
  8. Well after a very long wait version 1.6 has been released. I haven't tried it yet but noticed it on their web site.
  9. I bought the H3 from DOF and have been using it for 5 days now in VR with my Reverb G2. The leap in realism is almost as big as going from using a monitor(s) to VR. I think it is as pretty much as close as being in an aircraft irl as you can get. Having said that there is no getting around that it is an expensive purchase. After buying a seat for it and paying 35% more with the exchange rate (I live in Canada), plus sales tax on top of that, the grand total was almost $5000 CND.... OUCH! But... when I fly now I genuinely feel like I'm actually airborne! The feeling is hard to describe and is beyond anything I've ever experienced before using a flight sim.
  10. I don't see how. Did you do something else before going to the other airport (reboot computer, restart MSFS)?
  11. Agreed... That being the case I would try installing the developer version and see if that solves the problem. If it does then try reinstalling the Experimental version. Mark
  12. Hmm... I just tried now and they both fired up fine. Maybe check you have bleed air and your pack switches Mark
  13. I see they updated the Exp. version twice today. Try updating. Mark
  14. I think it might just be. I just checked and my build is the same and weather seems to be accurate. Mark
  15. Hi Folks, I've just started work again on constructing my home cockpit and I've enjoyed reading about fsxspy here in this thread. Unfortunately I've seen little posted about it elsewhere (including Johans support forum)? And there has been no follow up in the thread for five months. Are people happy with the latest version? Are people still using it? Is it too hard on FPS to be viable to use when opening 4 or 5 gauges on other monitors. It really looked like it had promise. And although it isn't as powerful or useful as some of the full blown cockpit software packages (ie: Prosim737, PM, etc) for $35 it looked like a promising alternative. I would welcome your comments about it. Thanks. Regards, Mark
  16. Really? You where so quick to tell us all in a previous thread that Microsoft does not do public beta testing. And when I pointed out to you that was not the case you conviently disappeared from the thread? I guess you were wrong eh?Mark
  17. So the only time this is MS Flight forum is when MS has something to say about it? Nonsense. Again I ask, is it too much to ask users to post relevant info. into an already existing and appropriate forum?Mark
  18. Dave, "a simple line to inform users a competing product " has turned into 4+ pages. I have no problem with simple one line posts. But because it was posted in the wrong forum (here) all of the off topic posts also end up here, needlessly cluttering the forum. What's so wrong in simply asking users to post in the appropriate forums. Is it really that much to ask? If I was to try and inquire about CPU performance specs here my post would be rightfully locked or moved. Other off topic posts -which already have a dedicated forum here, are mysteriously overlooked. You can start here:www.teachat.com
  19. Yes, actually I would like to see this thread closed and the OP warned. This thread should never have been started here. This is (suppose to be) the MS Flight Forum. There is a perfectly good X Plane forum to discuss X Plane.
  20. Ya you'd think so wouldn't you.... Apparently this forum is a free-for-all... It's too bad the moderators don't step up to the plate and let this forum remain what it was originally intend for.
  21. Than why use the term 'any' Beta? As I've pointed out that is not accurate.Mark Private and Public are two totally different things. Your claim was that MS never stated when 'any' Beta had started.MarkMark
  22. Ahh, now your statement has changed from what you originally said, and to which I replied. You originally stated:"The start of any beta period is never announced by MS" ...opperative word being 'any'.I stand by my statement.Mark
  23. Actually, they do announce (public) Beta testing.Mark Thank you so much for sharing that with us. It will undoubtedly deepen our understanding of whatMS Flight is all about.Mark
  24. My guess is that MS will anounce that MSF has gone into Beta testing and is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2012.Mark
  25. True. It's just a shame that some can't contain themselves in the meantime. Perhaps if enough people step up to the plate and complain loudly enough here about the pointless junk posts we can finally get the moderators to step in and put a stop to it so the rest of us can get back to talking about MS Flight, the purpose behind this forum.Mark
