After latest PMDG 3.0.39 "UPDATE" (LOL) I have no NWS?

Thats just on Taxi?

Cant even take off!

Seemingly after every "update", something goes TITS up?

I am fed up of it!

Cheers!

Anyone have a good complex sim that works like FSX?

Hey steamdriver! I hear your a reliable type! Any ideas? No one else has!

Hi Charlie,

I don't remember the current version number off hand but there was a PMDG update a little while back that changed how nosewheel steering works.  It was after an MSFS update (not the latest SU10) that added an axis assignment for a nosewheel steering tiller.  The previous PMDG solution of using custom code tied to a prop control axis (and set that way in the PMDG options menu in the aircraft CDU) was thus done away with.

Users needed to re-configure this setting in the CDU menu, and bind their tiller axis in MSFS (assuming a tiller was being used; I don't think there were changes if you were purely using the rudder axis for steering.)

The benefit was, this finally allowed the correct amount of limited nosewheel steering via the rudder pedals (only 7 degrees), and full nosewheel steering with the tiller. It fixed the issue of oversensitive pedal steering for folks using a tiller axis.

I'm just going from memory here, sorry I don't remember the specifics... you might need to look at the PMDG changelog and/or their forum.
