September 27, 20223 yr Hi Dave, ATC Chatter stopped working (v.2.6.3.1) and I have no idea why. It happened shortly after the update to 2.6.3.1, but I think it was working at first for a short time. Checked volumes (STBY, Config and Windows), also tried to use single files in a test folder and checked "Unblock" in properties as described in the manual. (if that would solve the problem I have no idea how i should do that with almost 30.000 files...) PIlot2ATC is connected to X-Plane 12, but I also tested with X-Plane 11. Tried to add screenshots but did not find an option to do that. Thanks for any help!
September 27, 20223 yr Commercial Member This almost always is the result of a change in the installation folder structure. Assuming you're using the ATC-Chatter files, check to see that the Regions folder from ATC Chatter has been copied, with all its contents, over to the P2A folder <P2A Install Folder>/Sounds/ATC_Chatter. The folder path to US center controller clips would be: D:\Pilot2ATC_2021_x64\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Regions\United States\Controllers\Ctr if you installed P2A on your D drive, for example. Dave
September 28, 20223 yr Author This is what my folder structure looked like: E:\Pilot2ATC_2020_x64\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Regions\Europe\Controllers\Ctr Then I changed the main directory to 2021 as here. E:\Pilot2ATC_2021_x64\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Regions\Europe\Controllers\Ctr Unfortunately that did not help. In P2A Configuration => ATC Chatter Options I am able to change the Default Region, so it seems that the folder is recognized anyway. But still not playing...
September 28, 20223 yr Commercial Member You should use whatever the actual name of your P2A installation folder is. If you updated from 2020 to 2021, then your folder will probably still be Pilot2ATC_2020_x64. You said you tried playing the files individually. Did they work then? If you email your screenshots to [email protected], I'll have a look and see if there's something obvious. Dave
September 28, 20223 yr Author Thanks a lot Dave, switching to Controller Folders now worked for me! Before it was somehow set to Country Folders.
