Possible to select a second Audio output?

Featured Replies

Hi Dave,

Enjoying Pilot2ATC immensely. The updates are great.

I have a full B737 cockpit in my shed, with the main PC audio output driving two large stereo speakers behind the walls, behind me, for engines, environment etc. My main PC 'headphone' output drives two small speakers above the pilots and their headsets.

In P3d, I am able to direct the 'ATC audio' to those overhead speakers by a dropdown selection in P3d Options>Sound. I can also do this with GSX2 for ground crew and loading sounds (plus in Prosim737, and SimSounds for Flt attendant calls)

Would it be possible to have this in Pilot2ATC?

One point, I do not listen to myself with the speech recognition as it is too distracting to hear it continuously.

When I installed Pilot2ATC I believe the sound was coming from the headphone outlet. However, after unplugging the second output for a short time, Pilot2ATC now comes out of my main speakers? How can I direct Pilot2ATC to the headphone outlet again? I can't find anything in Config or the instructions?

Thanks,

Aussie

Yes Dave,

That was embarrassing 😜

I had tabbed through all of the Config pages, a few times before posting, and didn't spot the setting.

Thanks for that. Works perfectly again now.

Another minor thing: Do you know where I could source a small microphone toggle .wav? Windows inbuilt sounds are not very realistic for COM transfer and Mic toggle.

Aussie.
